2. Why so much olive oil?
I love olive oil. It has awesome healing properties and I put it in all of my lotions and butters. It is wonderful for diminishing scars and healing cuts and burns too. Many recipes call for sweet almond oil as a filler. I will frequently replace it with more olive oil in my recipes. If you have trouble with very dry and scaly hands or feet in the winter, try the olive oil treatment. Just before bed rub your hands and feet generously with olive oil and cover them with old socks. One night will usually heal them nicely but sometimes 2 or 3 nights are needed. If you are prone to scaling, continue this once a week.

Books, Movies & Music
These are all from my personal collection. I love all 3 and have been hoarding them for years. Many of the books are so old they do not have ISBN numbers so I cannot list them on the book selling sites. They have been through numerous moves, 2 hurricanes and a few years in a storage shed so most are acceptable reading copies but are not collectible quality. They are for the person who loves to read and wants the feel of a book in their hands. I try to keep them at the cheapest shipping rates and sometimes combine collections they can be sent media mail for much lower prices. I do not accept returns on books because I try to keep the older reading copies at yard sale prices. They will sometimes be stained or a little bit ragged but no pages will be missing and this will all be detailed in the description. Most of them will not be collectible or resale quality, just good reading copies. Please read the descriptions closely because I try to be concise about the condition of each one.

Bath and Beauty Products
Because of my allergies, I have been making my own products over 40 years. I gathered twigs for my grandmother's soap pot when I was just 5, a mere 53 years ago :). Because of my allergies, I limit most of my fragrances to food scents leaning heavily to citrus and mint varieties. I also do a few florals but usually only by request. (Honeysuckle, Midnight Rose, Gardenia, Lily of the Valley and Lilac) I am violently allergic to lavender and most herbal scents but my friend Frances makes awesome soaps with these scents and I can connect you with her. I make most cold process batches of any products because I have a request or need them myself and the excess gets put on the web. Email me at lnbrnnn@runbox.com to request scents not listed. I take special requests for color and scent on the melt and pour glycerin soaps. These are made and shipped withing 2-3 days from ordering depending on the weather. If it is rainy, I may have to wait an additional day to allow for thorough drying but will email you if extra time is needed. Each MP bath bar is wrapped in plastic wrap. I do not accept returns on my bath and beauty products. They are all made fresh on a regular basis. I keep logs and records on every batch and pull any aging products for my personal or friends' use. If you are unsure about any of the scents, email me and we can probably work out a deal for $1-2 shipping for some samples shipped in a First Class envelope.

Village Yard Sale
My friends and church members are a blessing. They know my health problems keep me from getting enough crafts made to make a living. They unselfishly go through their homes and find knick knacks and odds and edds for me to sell. One friend used to run a shop and has even given me jewelry and other brand new goodies to sell. Some have also given me clothes which are described under the clothing section. I keep these at yard sale prices plus the .50 PayPal fee. To save on shipping, order several and I can combine them. For even more savings, contact me with a list and offer a quote. It's a Yard Sale so have fun in that section.

Handmade Crafts
I have been addicted to crafts since I was 6 years old and watched my grandmother embroidering pillowcases. She showed me how to do the chain stitch. I immediately went home and wrote my name on my pillowcase and chainstitched it. I was hooked and have had a need to try every craft since :) I have boxes and boxes of craft books and an entire room of supplies that I will eventually be adding here but mostly this will contain things I have made. I do dollhouse miniatures, fantasy dollhouses, plastic canvas ornies and wind twirlers, beaded and silver jewelry, crochet, cross stitch, quilting, polyclay figures and jewelry and just about everything else so keep an eye out for new things as I get them made. I am also big on recycling so I paint lightbulbs, turn soda bottles and pudding cups into "gift baskets" and shakers and more. My inventory is thin right now because of the fall and Christmas craft shows but keeping checking back for more listings.

3. Why Emu oil?
I use emu oil in my lotion sticks, lip balms and MSM cream because it is a deep penetrating oil and causes the healing oils and MSM to penetrate more deeply. I do not use it in my soaps and body butters because they are not made to penetrate. Oils and butters are for holding the moisture in your skin. The best time to use them is after your bath or shower. Your skin will be plump from the moisture and the butters and oils will hold them in.

Clothing
I don't know much about clothes other than Just My Size and Hanes Her Way tees, shorts and sweats. Except for a few nice pairs of slacks and tops for church and school, that is all I wear or have bought for about 15 years. I wear them until they are too ragged and replace as needed LOL. One friend has given me a lot of clothes her young grandaughter had but I am not sure about sizing. The girl is 13 and almost as tall as her grandmother. Most of the clothes say size 8 but I do not know if it is woman's size 8 or girls size 8. Others say S, M, L or XL and I have the same dilema. I am a large woman (3X) so all of these look tiny to me LOL. I will post meausurements from shoulder to shoulder and neck to the end of the garment to help in sizing. If you need more measurements feel free to email me. lnbrnnn@runbox.com I do not accept refunds on clothing because I make absolutely sure before listing any item that it is free from rips or stains. I check all the buttons and zippers to make sure they are functioning correctly. The one thing I cannot guarantee is there will not be a stray cat or dog hair. This is a pet friendly home ruled by a cat with 3 cowering dogs. I try to keep all clothing on racks and covered until sold but trying to control a cat is like funneling water with your fingers. She plunders every box as soon as I tape it together. If you are unsure of sizing be sure to email with any questions before purchasing.
